Next stop: Basel
ILLUMINARIUM, a collaboration with Miteinander and Montagsmarkt which was established in Zurich in 2017, premiered also in Basel this year. It takes place in the inner courtyard of the Museum der Kulturen Basel, and is therefore right next to one of Switzerland’s largest Christmas markets. Whether it is mulled wine, tasty wintery snacks or an intergalactic Advent concert performed by one-eyed Cyclopes – Basel offers a concentrated load of Christmas this year and enchants its visitors with magical lights and sounds.
Support for Yuki came from Koroschi. The little mascot of the museum of cultures was integrated into the show designed around Giuseppe Verdi’s «la traviata».
