Ferdinand Hodler & Paul Klee
With Illuminated Art, we transformed the industrial MAAG Halle Zürich into an animated art gallery and revived the paintings of the great Swiss artists Ferdinand Hodler and Paul Klee. Illuminated Art creates a unique symbiosis of analogue and digital art, in which the fantastic images come to life.
On regular days, our show is played up to 5 times in which 20 minutes are devoted to Ferdinand Hodler and 20 minutes to Paul Klee. The show takes its visitors on an inspiring 360-degrees-journey through the paintings of the two renowned artists.
On selected evenings, our immersive light installation is enhanced by live concerts and performances from More than Classic, the electronic music label Naturklang, the trio Stereo Kulisse, the accordionist Viviane Chassot, and the pianist Nik Bärtsch.
The “Lichtmuseum” is open from August 8th, until September 19th, 2019. (Closed on Mondays)
